Entries are now open for the 2017 Nami Island Concours, a biennial international picture book illustration competition. Entry is free and the grand prize is US$10,000. The Nami Island fosters a sustainable world and children’s literature. It is the official sponsor of the IBBY Hans Christian Anderson Award and supports international children’s illustration. Frane Lessac and Susanne Gervay were guests of Nami Island as part of their involvement in the anthology ‘Peace Story’ which is an IBBY anthology where 22 authors, 22 illustrators from 22 countries contributed works for peace.
